So when people first hear the name “Naughty Bear” they usually smirk. Think it’s something dirty, wild, even spicy.
Truthfully, that was never the intent behind the name.
When I first started the brand, I’ll admit, it was just a playful spin on another company’s name. I liked what they were doing, and I wanted to create something similar but rooted in Pride, something that spoke to my community and what it really means to belong.
As I began creating designs, something clicked. I realized how deeply Acceptance, Body Positivity, and Diversity are woven into Pride itself. That’s when Naughty Bear became something more than a name. It became a message.
Naughty Bear was never about mischief, though let’s be honest, a little mischief never hurts. It's about authenticity and self-acceptance, about showing up exactly as you are, no filters, no apologies.
That’s the real meaning behind Naughty Bear.
It’s not about being bad.
It’s about being real
